Privacy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data hygremon.com (“we”, “us”) processes when you visit this website, why, and what rights you have over it. This is a financial analysis and education website; we do not sell products or process payments.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

[YOUR LEGAL NAME]
[YOUR FULL BUSINESS ADDRESS]
Email: [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL]

Data we collect automatically

Like most websites, our server logs technical information for every visit – your IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamp – for security and to keep the site running. This is a legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and is not linked to your identity beyond what your IP address alone reveals.

Cookies and consent

We use Real Cookie Banner to obtain and record your consent before any non-essential cookie or tracking script runs. When you make a choice in the cookie banner, we store a consent record – the services you accepted or rejected, a timestamp, and a technical identifier for your browser – so we can prove that consent was given if required. This record is kept for as long as your consent is valid, and you can review or withdraw it at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer.

Analytics: Google Site Kit / Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Site Kit to embed Google Analytics, which helps us understand which articles and tools are actually useful to readers. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data including your approximate location, device type, and on-site behaviour. This data may be transferred to and processed by Google LLC in the United States; Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework as the transfer safeguard. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner, or opt out globally using Google’s own browser add-on.

Advertising

With your consent, we display advertising through Advanced Ads, which may work with third-party ad networks that set their own cookies to serve and measure ads. We do not control what those networks do with data beyond what you’ve consented to in the cookie banner; each service is listed individually there with a link to its own privacy policy.

Jetpack

This site uses Jetpack (by Automattic) for some site features (for example site statistics). Jetpack may set cookies and process data as described in Automattic’s own privacy policy, linked from the cookie banner where the relevant Jetpack module requires consent.

Comments

If comments are open on an article and you choose to leave one, we store the content of your comment along with your name, email address, and IP address, so we can moderate spam and respond to follow-ups. Your email address is never published.

Legal basis

We rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for analytics and advertising cookies, and on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for essential technical logging needed to run and secure the site. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

How long we keep data

Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes and then deleted. Cookie consent records are kept for as long as your consent remains valid. Comment data is kept for as long as the comment remains published, unless you ask us to remove it sooner.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of your data
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL].

Children’s privacy

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the services it uses change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
